What are the best towns to live in near the Seattle area?

My husband and I are looking at moving to the Seattle area within the next year or so. We both love Seattle but want to look at the surrounding cities to live in. There are so many great job opportunities in Seattle but we’re not sure we want to live in the city.

What are the best towns to live in near Seattle? Which ones have the best housing accommodations? I’m impressed with Bremerton but it seems somewhat far away from the city. Ideally, we’d like to work in Seattle but live elsewhere. Are there any suggestions?

What discount stores are there in Seattle WA for adults and teenagers?

We are planning a trip to Seattle Washington next month and was wondering where the discount outlets were. We are looking for designer jeans for my husband and I. and clothes for my 11 year old son. If anyone could give me any recommendations that would be great.
Thanks everyone. P.S. Yes if you can’t afford expensive things you should not buy them. However, I do not see what’s wrong with trying to get a discount even when you can afford it. Just because someone can afford it they shouldn’t always have to pay full price.

Mice problem in Seattle area homes crawl spaces?

I am planning to buy a nice house in Redmond Ridge (Greater Seattle area). During the inspection, the inspector found mice activity in the crawl space under the house. I am afraid this can get out of control and destroy the ducting and the crawl space insulation and that the mice can potentially enter into the house itself. My realtor says it is a common problem and can be put under control by using regular pest control.

Is there anyone who can say it is a common problem in Seattle area? Please answer ASAP. I need to make my decision soon.

I am thinking about visiting Seattle next year. I am trying to decide whether to fly or drive, because it would probably be as cheap to fly there as it would be to drive. (I live in Oklahoma)But that means either renting a car or public transportation.

So I was wondering what type of public transportation there is to visit the area and how much it costs.

What is the best neighborhood for young people in Seattle?

I moving to Seattle from New York City after I graduate from college this coming May. I was wondering which neighborhoods in Seattle offer a similar vibe to places like the Lower East Side, Chelsea, or the East Village. I’m looking for a nice pad; a studio or a 1-bedroom with lots of bars/clubs near-by. Also, how much should I expect to pay for rent?

With all the multimillion dollar settlements the city has paid out in the news. I wonder how much the City of Seattle pays out in lawsuits annually. A few million for a couple dozen lawsuits per year, adds up.
